Objective: create one client, one project, a safe client portal, and three working public intake forms. First-time setup is a guided configuration task; do not promise a 10-minute setup until a fresh timed duplicate proves it.

1 — Create the Client

Open Reusable Creation Workflow and create the client.

Minimum useful fields: client/company name, primary contact, email, status, and preferred communication channel if useful.

2 — Create the Project

Create the project and set Client, Project type, target date, goal, scope, out of scope, and success criteria.

Copy the generated Project ID such as PRJ-2. The client will enter this code in external forms.

3 — Provision the internal surfaces

Open Project Workspace Blueprint and duplicate the entire page before editing it.

Then open Mobile Project Quick View Blueprint and duplicate the entire page before editing it.

You do not need to find either page in the sidebar or page tree; use the links above. Bind each linked view inside the two duplicates to the new project.

For every project-specific linked view, use the real Project relation as the project filter. Do not bind with Project Key, project-title text, numeric placeholders, or PRJ-# text.

4 — Provision the Client Portal

Open Client Portal Blueprint, duplicate the entire page, and rename the duplicate Client Portal — [Client].

For every client-facing operational list, set:

Then keep the section-specific filters already required by that list, for example Waiting for client, Lifecycle Stage = Onboarding, or Lifecycle Stage = Handover.

Source of truth after triage: the Project relation. Project Reference is intake/provenance data only; it must not be the portal's project boundary.
